At Fresh Start, everything we do is guided by a concept we call Kallpa.

Kallpa, a word rooted in Quechua, means inner strength, life force, and energy. It represents the belief that what we grow, how we work, and how we relate to others all carry energy—and that energy matters. 

For us, produce is not just a product. It is something alive.

Herbs and vegetables are vessels of nourishment that go beyond flavor—they support the body, the mind, the spirit, and our relationship with nature.

The meaning of Kallpa became especially real to us after the pandemic.

We faced uncertainty, pressure, and moments where continuing forward was not guaranteed. What carried us through was not just systems or infrastructure—it was our people, our resilience, and a shared sense of purpose. We learned that true strength comes from within a team that moves with intention. That is Kallpa.
